Recording Running Up That Hill

Kate Bush reportedly wrote "Running Up That Hill" in one evening during the summer of 1983. It was the first track recorded for the 1985 album "Hounds of Love" composed on the Fairlight CMI. Kate originally titled the song "A Deal With God", however EMI (Kate's Record Company at the time) was very uneasy using the titile on the album, in fear of religous controversy. Both sides comprimised and the title is listed on the album as: "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)".
